We are back. After a three month break I felt ready to re-visit this little podcast. Inspired by events upcoming this weekend. That's right, Ireland is gearing up once again for the Electric Picnic festival in Stradbally. It's our own mini-Glasto.

I don't think I'll be making the trip down this year, it isn't much fun when your best mates aren't there, so we've all decided we'll make our own fun here at home. Not sure if it will cheer me up, or tide me over, but I've put together a mix of some of the artists that are going to be down the country this weekend.

Okay, well admittedly it's been over a year since I've started making the mixes, but this is the official 52nd mix making it the birthday mix. Boo-yeah. Also, since it's late, I've made it a double... 20 songs for your listening pleasures.

After this I won't be making the mixes quite every week. They've been really fun to do, but at the moment I have a few too many things on my plate making it nearly impossible to get them out... the fact that this mix is over 2 weeks late is the proof.

This week, rejuvenated from a small break, I've been inspired but a lot of disco-y-electro-hip-pop. But with a certain down-played relaxed vibe running throughout at the same time. Spring has sprung! Yet I give you some dark electro and 80s. What can I say, that's how I roll. Get your sexy slow drum machine on tonight, life is too short. At Love Action headquarters we're definitely mourning the loss of Malcolm McLaren, so I've included two acts that were his brainchild. I've also included... to the public's ears for the very first time the official remix of my band's song Bad Boyfriend. It's the 'Cast Aside Brides Remix' and it's dark and epic and makes our band want to float away off stage in a giant hot dog. I'll be sending a link to download that track soon.
